The lowest rates were recorded when they were still in student coaching status, and the highest rates began to peak after just one or two years of training. While I was hoping to get clear guidance on how coach fees should be set, the answers were so diverse that, after analyzing them, it seems that the best approach is simply to describe a general set of criteria or variables according to which coaches make their decisions about how much to charge for their services. Another factor that influences the costs of leadership coaching is the level of employee the coach works with. If you are a new coach, the value you gain from the coaching experience is very important, so you may not charge anything, you just want to have the opportunity to practice coaching.
While some coaches charge by the hour, many offer programs that last a set period of time to ensure that their clients have enough time to develop leadership skills that require time to develop, such as presentation or strategic thinking skills, or to overcome change and uncertainty.
